How to reapply old vinyl wallpaper on stairway?

Roof leaked and vinyl wallpaper has peeled off. Can I stick back over where it was originally?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your vinyl wallpaper.

I suggest having a look at the Parfix 500ml Fast Grip Adhesive - 500ml. My best advice is to make sure the wall and the vinyl wallpaper are totally dry before you apply the contact adhesive. Please note that the adhesive instantaneously grips upon contact and will not move, please make sure that you are in the correct position once you lay the wallpaper back into its original position.

Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask. Please make sure to follow all the safety guidelines printed at the back and to follow the application instructions carefully.
