Hello
I am trying to self repair our roof as we can't find any one atm. This roof is
Trimdek and Colorbond, Please can you advise what is the best way to fix the following two problems;
1) Hole in Trimdeck
2) Missing Flashing
It sounds like you're after roofing screws @JustinMcAbbe. You have the longer Buildex 12-14 x 50mm Climaseal Hex Head Hi-Grip With Seal Roofing Tek Screws, and the shorter colour-coded Roof Zip Head Head screws.
Your list appears to be fairly comprehensive, and you should have everything you need.
Dulux Acratex is certainly a premium option that you can use on your roof, and it's typically considered the trade and more robust alternative to the Weathershield range.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mitchel,
I am ready to replace all the screws in my Colorbond Trimdek roof as the washers have deteriorated. I’ve purchased Buildex roofing screws. I have one question: if the battens are rotten and I’m unable to screw the new screws back in securely, is there a way to improve the seal in those holes? Could I use some kind of silicone, Liquid Nails, or another product to help seal or secure the screw and fill in the hole first? I want to ensure that the screws never leak again."
Hi @JustinMcAbbe,
If the battens are rotten, then they should be replaced. Are they rotten, or are you just speculating that they could be? It not a great building practise to try and glue screws into position. You could add a little Liquid Nails to their threads before screwing in to help lock them in position. However, if the batten is that damaged that the screws won't hold, then the roof should be assessed to see if further work is needed, like replacing timbers.
