The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
Hi @David131,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.
It seems like your door handle uses grub screws, like in the last image, to connect the handles to the circular plates that are connected through the door.
I would start by removing all the grub screws and taking the handles off. You can use a Hex Key to remove these grub screws.

Once the handles are off, then we can see how the connector plates are attached. They may just need to be pushed back flush against the door, or they may need to rotate along the thread.
Once the connector plates are either reseated or tightened flush against the door, slip the handle back in place, then tighten the grub screws.
If you have any issues, please upload some photos of the connector plates once the handles have been removed. I should be able to assist better if I can see how they attach.
Let me know how you go.
Jacob
