Your biggest D.I.Y. blunder

Workshop's goal is to help everyone to do it themselves. We want to provide a forum where people can share their experiences, knowledge and advice so you can have the confidence and skills to tackle your projects.

But we know it isn't always easy, and we've all made mistakes in the past.

Please share your biggest D.I.Y. blunder in the discussion below. Don't be shy, we promise not too laugh too much!

I'd like to know where the bloke got his tricycle, I could do with one of them.

I'm relieved that I'm not the only one that ends up accidentally superglueing myself to whatever I'm working on. The most annoying thing about this particular blunder is that each time it happens I think I'm being really careful.

Oops, didn't notice it was a very old post.

Refering to message 24, guy on a ladder over a stairwell:

How to live an exciting but short life! The guy "helping" him could at least be holding the feet of the ladder in place, instead of at a pivot point where he could actually assist the feet to slip outwards into the stair well.
