Not sure whether this is a DIY disaster or genuis. It's certainly inventive.
I don't think it was a blunder on my part, but I was using a hand sander yesterday and the motor burned out. The "pop and frizzle" gave me a bit of a fright. Yay for safety switches...
Saw this on Facebook this morning - proof that sometimes even the "professionals" get things wrong. The screen was installed before the toilet went in, with the installer wrongly assuming the toilet waste was actually the shower waste. Then the plumber installed the toilet anyway...
