Hi bunning's workshop community,

I've noticed that there are gaps in the corner's of the shower and bathroom, and would appreciate any advice/instructions on how to seal them and with what sort of product. Also would anyone know if theses are possible entry points for pests to enter from?

Many thanks in advance!

Re: Advice on how to seal gaps in corner of shower and bathroom.

Hello @dio612

Thanks for sharing your question about the gaps in your shower and bathroom. It appears that the silicone seal in the corner has started to peel off and deteriorate. The general steps to repair are to remove the old silicone seal, clean the surface and then apply a new seal. Would pests enter these gaps? Perhaps, but once the gap is sealed they will perish inside the gap. I recommend looking at Selleys 300g White Wet Area Waterproof Silicone Sealant to seal the gaps.

Here are some handy step-by-step guides:

Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and mask when working on your project.
