How to fix mirror to wall?

Hi,

Just wanted to get some advice on fixing a mirror to my bathroom wall. The mirror is about 6.2kgs and will be hung on plaster board.

Any help would be awesome for how to attach it. Check out the photos of the hanging points.

They about 20cm or so apart.

I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to hang just about anything by @Adam_W. 

I recommend looking at the following hooks that will work with your mirror plates:

• Everhang 10kg Brass Plated Picture Hanging Angle Drive Hook - 3 Pack 
   
• Everhang 20kg Heavy-Duty Solid Wall Picture Hanging Hook in combination with Ramset Super Wallmate Toggle Anchor 
   
• Everhang 20kg Brass Plated Heavy-Duty Picture Hanging Angle Drive Hook 

Any of these three hooking systems will work very well with your mirror.

Hey Eric,

I ended up using your second option.

Everhang 20kg Heavy-Duty Solid Wall Picture Hanging Hook in combination with Ramset Super Wallmate Toggle Anchor 

What screws would you recommend for the toggle anchors. The ones I had were to thin.

Hello @JonnyH 

If you purchased the Ramset Super Wallmate Toggle Anchor you should find screws inside the packet. There is no need to get separate screws for the toggles. The screws that came with the packet are rated to work with toggles weight rating.
