Any idea whether this can be easily fixed?
At first it just creaked a bit if we stepped on it, then it dropped in completely.
The cap can obviously be pulled out of the drain.
Does the whole top of the drain need to be replaced or can I just get a cap to go on top?
For example, can I get this and use the cap?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @ludicrousgib. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing a drain grate.
It will depend on whether you can find a grate that matches exactly. It will need to be the same width and height to sit in the existing groove. I suggest you take the ring section to your closest Bunnings store and speak with a helpful Plumbing team member to match it up. If there are no matching grates then you'll need to replace the whole drain grate and housing.
