Hi @YasHaskell,
Is the issue that when the plug is down, it doesn't seal and the water continues to drain? Can you identify whether the leak is coming through the centre of the waste, or if it is going underneath the outer chrome ring?
You can purchase Pop Up Waste O-Ring Kits, which would be the first thing I'd try. If you remove the top cover and replace the o-ring around it, this could stop the leak.
If this doesn't solve the issue, you can also replace the Chrome Pop Up Waste Covers, which could also stop the leak.
If that fails, then you may need to look at replacing the whole pop-up basin waste, assuming you have access to the underside of the waste.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks Jacob, I'm not sure where the water is seeping out. I suspect it might be escaping through the seal around the chrome ring, which is a bit old and loose. Is there a way to test this? Cheers, Yas
Hi @YasHaskell,
If you put a little bit of water in and put a spot of food colouring in the water, then observe where it escapes, this should give you an idea.
I'd say it is escaping through the centre, in which case you should replace the O-rings to start, then replace the cover if that fails.
If it were escaping around the outside of the waste, then you'd likely see water damage beneath the basin. If that is the case, then you should replace the whole waste.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
