I have a bath with a hose w female end.
washing machine also has a female end hose.
any adapter that’ll work?
Hello @al3446 welcome to the Workshop Community, if my memory serves correctly, the hose fixture to connect a washing machine to a tap outlet uses a 3/4 inch female (BSP thread), whilst the shower hose utilises a 1/2 inch (BSP thread), you require what is referred to as a 3/4 to 1/2 inch reducing nipple, they are available in both brass & high performance polypropylene

It would be prudent to try out the adapter in store with the assistance of a Bunnings Team member (or bring your hoses with you 😉
Hello @al3446
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine hose.
It's great that you've received excellent advice from @DIYGnome. Their suggestion of using the Philmac 3/4" x 1/2" BSP Threaded Pipe Nipple is a good one. As a possible alternative you can also look at using the Brasshards 20 x 15mm Brass Threaded Hex Reducing Nipple LF. They both function in the same manner and the only difference is that one is plastic the other is brass.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
