Full Boar pedestal drill on clearance

I'm not sure if every Bunnings store is the same - but mine now has on clearance the Full Boar pedestal drill.

Current price is $224 - this is around $70 less than the smaller Ryobi bench-top drill press in store.

I think this is a remarkable buy - and considering a 750 watt motor.

Right - forget the diodes.

I put the drill on its side.

Difficult, but thanks to Dick Smith - there is something like 12.5 V across the bulb socket.

Not the transformer.

Not the socket.

Not the switch.

Just the bulb.

Can I get a replacement bulb Bunnings? 😁

Sadly, I discovered a number of my multimeters have been destroyed by battery leakage.

Amazingly, Dick still works. 😁

G'day mate,

OK... you can use a 9V battery and some insulated hookup wire.

If the globe is good it will light but... will be a bit dim due to the reduced voltage.

The only 12v globes I can find are these Narva 12V 21/5W BAY15d Incandescent Stop/Tail & Indicator Globe, which are not an edison screw, so they wouldn't work.

Your best bet would be to speak with the Special Orders team at your local store or reach out to the Spare Parts team for their assistance. I am sure they could source a replacement bulb from Full Boar.
