How to fill gaps in garden shed?

I have a few questions regarding my garden.

1. There are some gap between the roof (polycarbonate sheet) and wall (metal sheet). please see the picture.

Can I put polycarbonate sheet between to prevent rain/water to go in? Do I need to install some flushing or something? If I need, please advise me what I should install.

2. My shed is mostly in the concrete stab but there are parts that are on rubber that on the soil. Do you see any potential issue in next 4-5 years? I am in Melbourne so the weather is a bit unpredictable.

3. There are some gap between the floor and frame. Do I need to worry about it? Should I put some timber or rubber mat?

The whole shed is built by our local tradie within tight budget.

Re: looking for advices - Garden shed

Good evening @michaelsync,

For this.

I suggest this and it's well priced.

Building Moulding Flashing.

Remove roofing screws and slide the short side under the roofing.

Because they are timber roofing screws you will likely need to drill pilot holes in the flashing.

For this.

I suggest this.

Re: looking for advices - Garden shed

Hello @michaelsync

It's great that you've received fantastic advice from @AlanM52. I totally agree with his suggestions in regards to the flashing and rubber inserts. I can only suggest that should you happen to have extra funds in your budget, I propose concreting that section that has the rubber flooring. This will give you uniform flooring and will provide a long service life.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric

Re: looking for advices - Garden shed

CC: @michaelsync,

You could even pave that section, not many pavers and a few bags of paving sand or even kids play sand which is about $8.00 for 20kg bag.

Cheers
