Help please! How can I remove this bat poo stain from the car?
Hi @darcyDIY,
I’d start by giving the area a good clean using a quality car wash liquid and a soft sponge. Go over it a few times to see if the stain lifts. Sometimes it just takes a bit of gentle elbow grease. Unfortunately, bat droppings can be acidic and may etch into the clear coat of your car’s paint.
If washing doesn’t fully remove it, try using a mild polish to see if you can lift the stain from the top layer of the clear coat. If that works but doesn’t completely clear the mark, move up to a cut and polish, which is slightly more abrasive and can help remove deeper staining. Afterwards, you can polish the area back up to restore the shine. To save on effort, we do have these Ozito 240V 110W Buffer Polishers. You could then give the whole car a once over.
If you’re not confident doing this yourself, I’d recommend taking it to a professional detailer. In most cases, these stains are only in the top layers of the clear coat and can be successfully removed with the right technique.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Will give these a go 🤞
Worked like a charm
Ended up using Autoglym Super Resin Polish and with the Ozito 240V 110W Buffer Polishers the stain completely came out and was super easy to use
Thanks again!
