Ozito cordless battery compatibility

Hi.   I have just bought an Ozito 12v cordless drill.  Could I use the battery from that in an Ozito 18v Circular saw or other Ozito power tool.

I have 2 OZITO drills OZCD144V1BK which which work great. I need the unque Craddle Chargwer.

Re: Ozito cordless battery compatibility

Hi @okcoral1,

Unfortunately, as the OZCD144V1BK ceased production around 2014, there are no longer chargers available for order.

I would suggest upgrading to Ozito's current PXC battery platform. At roughly 90 dollars, the Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Drill Driver Kit PXDDK-250C, is a relatively inexpensive, entry-level drill that would far exceed the 14.4V drill that you have.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Replacement Batteries for Ozito LIR-012 ( No longer in Production )

Hi,

I would much appreciate if anyone could direct me in right direction. I am looking to buy replacement battery for my 12V Ozito Set, tried through Bunnings special order but they cannot help as its no longer in production. However, if any of you have got the battery please flick me the details. If anyone got the original, please also send me the photos so I can look into aftermarket support. Oz-1.jpgOz-2.jpg

Hello @Shaun01

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us.

Just to give you a good comparison, the cost of having the old battery set of your drill repacked would almost be equivalent to the cost of an Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Compact Drill And Impact Driver Kit PXCDIK-250. This is currently the best offer from Ozito which includes two drills and a battery kit. An excellent investment as usually these two drills when purchased separately will cost you at least two and half times its current value.

Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @Nailbag for their recommendations.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks EricL

Currently, I am trying to revive my old set which otherwise is in perfect condition.

Are you able to provide photos of original batteries so I can look into aftermarket / used support ?

Hello @Shaun01

I don't have the exact battery image for your drill model. but I have seen something very similar on the web which I've placed below. You'll need to do some research to find the right model.

Thanks Eric,

I think I found a very close aftermarket part. Screenshot 2025-08-25 173354.jpg

Hello @Shaun01

My best advice is to triple check the sizes and keep your docket just in case you need to exchange it with the manufacturer.

Re: Replacement Batteries for Ozito LIR-012 ( No longer in Production )

Hi @Shaun01

That shape is very common with a wide range of 12V battery packs. They utilise different cell chemistries and charge rate capacities. My strong advice from over 30yrs in the power tool industry is to not purchase any cordless battery that is not list as being a direct replacement. Incorrect charge rates etc can damage the batteries and can possible cause more serious and dangerous situations. For the sake of safety and longevity of the investment on return, I would recommend as @EricL suggests on a new model cordless drill.
