Hi, I want to convert my shed to a ceramic/pottery studio. I am after details to line and insulate the shed. It has a concrete slab.
Hello @tanyacourt
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your steel shed.
This is a very popular topic and has been asked quite a number of times. The general process is to build a timber frame inside your shed so that there will be a structure that can hold the bats in place. Once the bats have been positioned in place you can then cover it with your preferred medium such as plasterboard or OSB panels as examples. The same method is used for your ceiling to accommodate ceiling bats. My best advice is to look into the option of installing a Split System Aircon system in your shed for full temperature control.
Please remember to check out the stores Air Conditioning Installation Service, especially if you are looking for a professional to install your air con unit.
I also suggest having a look at this discussion - How to insulate a shed? by @Andrew295.
