How do you use a power saw?

Would like to learn how to use power tools for small home projects

Depending on where you live there may be a Mens Shed, Makers Space or Woodworking Club near you. Some Tafe's also run courses on home maintenence. I have a trade thought that I haven't worked in for more than 20 years.

It's great that @Brad has given you excellent places you can go to in order to gain more knowledge about your tools. Learning to use your tools is one of the first steps in your D.I.Y. journey. If you use your tool with safety in mind you should have a productive outcome every time you use it.
