Hi @Revi,
The automation of the water and the sprinklers are two separate but linked systems.
For automating your irrigation, you would use a tap timer. There are options for a variety of situations and for multiple irrigation lines, but yours would be relatively simple so a single outlet tap timer would suffice.
In terms of sprinklers, I'd suggest using Pop Up Sprinklers and running the irrigation line along the pathway, aimed towards the fence.

With this set-up, you could use two quarter-circle sprinklers in the corners and two half-circle sprinklers in between them.

I'd suggest the Pope 50mm 1/4 Circle Professional Pop-Up Sprinkler and Pope 50mm 1/2 Circle Pop-Up Sprinkler are good choices, as their throw radius can be adjusted to suit your area.

Hi Jacob,
thank you for your efforts . Yesterday I visited Bunnings to buy “ trip irrigation line “ for my border gardening . Unfortunately I couldn’t get anyone because I as busy . I can upload pictures which I drew.
I need connection with aromatic timer with main pipe. But I couldn’t find proper fittings. Could you please send link . Fittings needed
1,trip line poly pipe which is best quality ?
2, taps connector automatic timer
3, timer to poly pipe connector
4, dead end cap
5, trip pipes size ?
thank you
Revi
Hi @Revi,
It depends on what-sized irrigation line you are using and the connector on the timer.
For example, if you are using 19mm poly pipe, you would use a Pope 19mm Snap Sure Connector to connect the line to the tap timer, or if you are using 13mm irrigation line, you would use a Pope 13mm Single Snap Sure Connector.
If you think they will not work for any reason, please let me know which specific irrigation line and tap timer you have so I can assist further. There are other 19mm Poly Fittings and 13mm Poly Fittings if the ones I mentioned above will not work.
Let me know what you think.
Jacob
Hi,
automatic timer how to connect with tripper line ? Any fittings?
thabk you
Revi
Hi @Revi,
Are you using poly pipe? If so, what is the diameter of your poly pipe?
The snap sure connectors I mentioned above will connect a tap timer to poly irrigation line.
If you aren't using poly pipe, such as this Holman 13mm x 25m Black Poly Pipe or this Holman 19mm x 25m Black Poly Pipe then I will need details on what you are using to recommend fittings.
