Is there a way to replace this with a line trimmer head? the blades keep on falling off and breaking. Is there any line trimmer that would fit into this piece? or better just to buy a new machine?

Is your machine the Ozito PXC 18V 240mm Cordless Grass Trimmer 2.0Ah Kit PXCLTK-218? If so, it’s specifically designed for the bladed head, and there isn’t a line trimmer head that can be retrofitted onto it. While there may be some aftermarket options that fit the thread type, the machine itself is built for lightweight blades.
Under normal use, the blades should stay firmly attached and shouldn’t be breaking. If they are coming loose or breaking frequently, it could indicate the head is damaged. Blades can occasionally break if used hard against concrete or edging, but the guard is designed to prevent direct contact with hard surfaces.
I’d recommend taking your trimmer into the store and speaking with one of our Power Gardening experts. They can check the head for damage, and if the machine is still under warranty and faulty, the team can offer a replacement or discuss upgrading to a different trimmer that may better suit your needs.
