How to use Gardeners Choice mower?

Good morning gardeners,Heather here with a question about mowers.I have an old gardeners choice mower and I cannot remember if the Red fuel button needs to be facing in or out to start mower.Easy question for a Saturday kind regards Heather 😀 ☘️

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.

Did you have a photo of the button you are referring to? This would help our members see what you are referring to and offer their best advice. If you need a hand uploading images, I would be happy to assist, just let me know.

If the red button you are referring to is the fuel priming button, it wouldn't really change much if it is compressed or not as it is used to move the fuel through the lines and prime the engine before starting.

If the red button is for something else, I'd be looking for a sticker or plate to tell me the model number of the mower and seeing if I could find an instruction manual online.
