Given your Victor mower lasted 15 to 20 years, it makes sense to look at a similar replacement. One good option would be another Victor mower, as they are reliable and designed to last. For example, the Victor 18-inch 450E Classic Cut Petrol Mower is a solid choice. It has enough power to handle lawns that aren’t cut every couple of weeks during summer, and it has a wider 18-inch deck compared to the smaller 16-inch versions. If you want something slightly stronger, you can also consider models with bigger engines or higher horsepower, depending on your lawn size and needs.
It’s a good idea to visit your local Bunnings store and see the range in person. You’ll be able to check the cutting heights and get hands-on with the mowers to see what feels right.
