How to fix chipped porcelain benchtop?

I have a relatively new porcelain bench top but it has some damage in the form of small chips on the edges. What white material is available to make very robust repairs. The porcelain material is very hard.

Re: Chipped porcelain bench top

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Cam46. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a benchtop.

For a porcelain benchtop, especially a new one, the safest and most effective approach is to have a professional carry out the repair. Skilled tradespeople can perform a near-invisible repair that is extremely durable, and the result is usually only noticeable to someone who knows exactly where the damage was. While there are DIY products such as two-part epoxy paste, these require careful colour matching, sanding, and finishing, and achieving a seamless, robust repair on your own is very difficult. Given the hardness of porcelain and the importance of maintaining the benchtop’s appearance, I would strongly recommend engaging a benchtop restoration professional rather than attempting a DIY fix.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
