We replaced the oven (which is slightly smaller than the previous) and the cavity is slightly larger than the new oven . What suggestions do you have for filling this gap? I'd rather a cheap option as the house will be sold in the short term..I'm currently in the process of painting all the cupboards white also.
Thank you
Hello @Help2
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your oven tower.
I propose cutting a piece of pine timber the size of the gap above your double oven. I recommend using a Carinya 20 x 200 x 2mm Galvanised Flat Plate Make-A-Bracket to attach it to the oven tower cabinet on the inside. You can fill the gaps of the pine piece with UNi-PRO 500g Multi Purpose Interior Filler - 500g . Once the filler cures sand it down flat and paint over the surface.
