Hi
I am planning a kitchen renovation project, where I will be removing an oven and microwave tall cupboards with an under bench cupboard. I will then replace the whole kitchen bench top with a new (ethical) reconstituted stone top. My question is how do I ascertain than Bunnings Caboodle kitchen cupboard and drawer units will match my existing kitchen cupboard. So when I replace the doors (all doors) and the benchtop they will fit in seamlessly. I am planning to get the help of a handyman to do the job. Thank you in advance for your help
Hello @Marrtin
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your kitchen renovation.
In order to make sure the cabinetry matches your existing units, I suggest taking measurements of the height, width, and depth of your current cabinetry. These measurements will provide a useful reference point when selecting a new cabinet to fit into your existing layout. The Kaboodle cabinets can be adjusted for height as their plastic feet are adjustable, but the actual cabinet itself is fixed in size.
In regards to your doors, I recommend measuring each one and noting the dimensions on a piece of paper. Take these measurements to your local store’s kitchen specialist and ask if they can match the sizes. If they can, you’ll simply need to choose a door style. If not, your handy person will need to create custom panels for your kitchen. Alternatively, you may also consider painting your existing doors for a refreshed look.
