hi
looking to get this nib wall removed from kitchen to extend my benchtop.
any ideas if that is possible and if it is a complicated job?
Hello @goyal03
In this particular instance, I suggest engaging the services of handy person or builder as it is an involved project and will require intermediate to expert carpentry skills. The demolition will need to be carried out with care so as not overly damaged the existing walls and cabinetry around the area. The builder will then need to assess what needs to be built behind the oven tower to make sure that it is structurally sound before it is covered in plasterboard. The bulkhead will also need to be rebuilt and any services running through it must be made secure.
Not to forget, the electrician will need to be asked to secure the power points in the area. The wall will then need to be plastered over and prepped before tiling. The flooring will also need to be addressed before any new cabinetry is installed in the new space.
