Hi
I would like to line an 8.5m wall with narrow cabinets like the Kaboodle Deep wall cabinet (Model Number: W-51875). There are space/access requirements hence looking at the narrower wall cabinets instead of standard 560D base cabinets.
All the cabinets need to be lockable as in a commercial space but will have merchandise displayed on the top. I would like to have 2 x adjustable shelves in the top half, and 1 x deep drawer in the bottom half of all the cabinets (so they all need to be internal ie sit behind the lockable cabinet door). There are height restrictions as the display on the top of the cabinets needs to be within reach for disabled customers.
I have looked at the Lugna range but I'm getting an error message in the planner "Door's hinges are colliding with drawer. Align carefully!". The Lugna range is also limited in colour and less deep than the Kaboodle range (I would ideally like the cabinets to be 600W x 450D, the Kaboodle wall cabinet is 400D and Lugna is 380D).
Any suggestions on how and where to source the internal shelves and drawers for the Kaboodle deep wall cabinet?
Thanks in advance !

Hello @VV21
Thank you for sharing your question about the Kaboodle cabinetry. The Kaboodle 600mm Deep Wall Cabinet can be formatted with a single or dual doors, it all depends on what you prefer. The door can be locked with the use of a Taskmaster 19 x 30mm Drawer Lock, but if you are using two doors, you'll need an extra Delf 100 x 32 x 9.5mm Cranked Barrel Bolt Offset Satin Chrome to keep the other door in place. For the extra shelf I suggest using CUSTOMpine 2400 x 445 x 16mm Carcass Shelving E1L White Standard Particleboard. The panel will need to be cut down and trimmed off to fit into the cabinetry. If you wish to add extra levels it will be necessary to drill the side of the cabinet so that there is a spot for the shelf supports.
In regards to the drawer, it will need to be assembled from scratch, you'll need to ask a cabinet maker to build the shelves for you as the basket drawer sets are just too deep and will not fit the wall cabinet. But other than that, everything else that you've requested should work out fine.
Please note that you'll need the services of a cabinet maker/installer as there will be a number of modifications that will need to be performed professionally.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
