How to change halogen light bulb?

I am trying to change the warm white light to cool white for attached, can anyone suggest me

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your lamp.

I've had a thorough search on the Bunnings website, but the halogen cool white bulb is currently not available at the store. I can only suggest upgrading your lamp fitting to a Luce Bella 30cm Alabaster Oyster Light. This light fitting accepts standard E27 light bulbs - Osram E27 LED 1000lm Daylight Stick 11W Light Globe - 3 Pack that comes with a daylight colour. 

Please note that any electrical work needs to be carried out by a licensed electrician for safety and compliance.

Hi @Suchibunn,

That job requires an electrician but... you have a problem.

Halogen lamps/lights were banned by the government in 2021 which basically means restricting the supply and sale of that type of lamp and... that was four years ago.

So... if you engage an electrician you will be informed (because of the above) the light fitting needs to be changed to a LED type one.

What other options do you recommend? 
I need white light in the house. It’s ceiling light in which halogen light is used.

Another option is the Philips Oyster LED 1700Lm Cool White 17W. This is an integrated LED unit with an operating life of 15years, no need to change light fittings. Please note that you'll need to engage the services of an electrician to install this light fitting.

@Suchibunn Halogen bulbs are progressively being phased out, and you will have difficulty finding a replacement. I noticed Bunnings Kirrawee store had an 80 watt R7S bulb, 75mm long, which probably fits your light. Colour temperature 3000K.

If you want 'cool white' (4000K+) you'll need to replace the existing light fitting with an LED model. I suggest a LED Oyster fitting like this one.
