We've cracked the glass in the sliding wardrobe door in the bedroom. Do we need to buy a whole door or just replace the glass? It's a metal frame, possibly aluminium but not sure. Cheers
Hello @taylor81
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your wardrobe door.
Just a friendly reminder that handling and working with glass is dangerous especially if it is already cracked. An accidental hit with a tool or when too much force is applied could make the glass shatter and cause injury. Please make sure to wear personal protection such as long sleeve shirts and pants with closed toe shoes, form fitting rubber gloves and goggles.
Both repair options are available to you, it is possible to have the glass replaced by a professional glass and aluminium specialist, or you can measure your existing door and see if there is a similar door in shape and size at the store. In the meantime, I suggest covering the glass with cardboard and masking tape to keep it safe and prevent further damage.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
