Hi there,
i recently had my window reseated as chippies had come through and absolutely butchered the window and wouldn’t close properly.
I am now wondering about how the reseating was done and if it is done correctly. It is under my impression standard is to installing window using reveals to the timber frame of the house, however, the guys have installed the window using green plugs in the edges of the window to the brickwork.
Is this okay and can just install reveals now?
Hi @throatgoat,
It all depends on the specific window and the installation requirements provided by the manufacturer of that window. I'd suggest you speak with the manufacturer of the window to see what their installation requirements are.
If they say that it is fine, then you should be fine to move on to installing the reveals.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
