Hi @butchandbulldog,

 

This is such a fabulous mirror project, thank you for sharing it as your first post! It is a great entry for the DIY July competition. Fantastic projects like these even make it into our Top Ideas section, you might find this one in there one day. Many of our members find inspiration from projects on the site and would love to try it out for themselves. What material did you use for the arches? How did you attach the velvet fabric? Any tips or tricks for creating this project?

Hi Katie, 

Thanks for your message. First time posting so I wasn't sure how to add the details.

 

I used:

- Pipe Insulation for the arches

-I glued the mirror with liquid nails to an MDF board which I cut with a jigsaw into an arch shape.

- I used a hot gun to glue the velvet fabric to the pipe insulation.

 

It was a super easy and fun project!
