Hi team
I have a home in the door I would need fixing. I am wondering how I go about it and also the costs to fix. Can you guys recommend the costs and what is needed to fix this?
please see image below
Replacing the door would be easier and cheaper option than trying to patch fix it. A hack would be to put a small rectangle sheet peice on the bottom area to cover the hole that looks like a pattern.
Hello @matthewhardman
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your door.
It's great that you've received excellent suggestions from @J-P. Looking at it from an overall perspective, it would be more affordable to replace the door. However, just in case you are curious about the repair. The broken pieces of the door are to be removed and small timber support pieces are to be placed inside the hole and fixed in place with glue and screws. Once the timber supports are secure you can then cut a patching piece of timber or use Turbo 500ml Builder's Bog - Bunnings Australia to fill the damage.
