Closing alfresco to use it as play or activity room

My alferesco is covered by 3 sides with walls and one side open with 5.77m wide opening. I wanted to close this space.

1. Bunnings team can they assist and built this for us?

2. Do we need to seek council approval to do this?

Re: Closing Alferesco to use it as Child play or activity room.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jegadeesh. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about enclosing your alfresco area.

What were you looking to enclose the area with? Perhaps Bistro Blinds? If so, I'm sure our helpful members would be more than happy to provide any advice you need whilst installing them yourself. You should also find this step-by-step guide useful: How to install bistro blinds. If you were considering some other form of enclosing the area, please let us know.

If you were looking to have someone else do this work for you, they could look for a tradesperson through hipages.

The best place to find out what approvals might be necessary would be with the council themselves. As there might be regulations specific to the area you live.

Please let me know if you have any questions?

Mitchell
