Hang timber screens to ceiling for privacy

Hey guys i want to hang these 2 screens to the bricks and lower part on the ceiling for privacy. Im assuming use timber for a frame and screw into frame in the ceiling?

I've got a metal frame so I thought toggle screws would secure best. What timber do I use for the frame? Could any sketch me a rough outline of the frame?

Re: hang timber screens to ceiling

Hi @holmess,

I would imagine the easiest option would be to run a piece of Treated Pine Outdoor Timber Framing 70 x 45mm between the pillar and the wall. This would be supported by Carinya 40 x 40 x 40 x 5mm Hot Dipped Galvanised Angle Brackets that have been Dynabolted into the brickwork and be located at the bottom edge of the panels.

Do you know what the internal structure of the lower ceiling portion is? You should be able to screw the top of the panels directly into it and the bottom of them into the rail.
