Hey team. I want to make this DIY Pizza Oven. Advice on should I use Masonry bricks?
I've come across that design before @amichaelmedia, certainly is interesting.
While standard masonry bricks and pavers may seem like an option for your DIY pizza oven, it's important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for safety and performance. In this case, our brick and paver manufacturers would not recommend using them for this project. The ideal choice for constructing a pizza oven is fire-rated bricks and slabs, which are specifically designed to withstand the high temperatures generated during cooking.
You may also be interested in exploring our range of pizza ovens. The Jumbuck Portable Pizza Oven is a great budget-friendly standalone option, and I've heard the Hacienda Pizza Oven Box with Built-in Thermometer works a treat on a BBQ.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
