How can I cover this gap between the roof sheets and the house roof? The rain is coming through the gap.
Hi @kelly7,
Thank you for your question.
My suggestion is to use CAgroup 100mm x 10m Weatherproof Byute Flash Flashing Tape to bridge the gap.
You could stick one side to the outside of the roof batten and the other side to the inside of the gutter.
This would block the rain from coming through the gap and divert it down into the gutter.
You'll want to make sure you give the surfaces a good clean before sticking it down to ensure it holds as strongly as it can.
Allow me to tag @Nailbag, @AlanM52 and @Noyade to see if they have any other ideas.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hello, thanks so much for your reply, that’s a great suggestion. Is there anything that you can recommend which is more sturdy? I’m worried that it won’t be strong enough.
Hi @kelly7,
You could unscrew one row of screws from the roof sheet, slip one of these Brutus 50 x 75mm x 3.0m Jazz Building Moulding Flashings under the sheet so one edge is on the top of the timber and the other sits in the gutter. You could then screw through the roofing sheet and the edge of the flashing sheet using the existing roofing screws.
You could then use the flashing tape to stick the bottom edge to the inside of the gutter.
Let me know what you think.

Hi @kelly7,
Move the water ingress problem towards the roof tiles.
Cut strips of poly roofing and slide them under the roofing.
Come back to further discuss.
Cheers
Hello Alan, thanks for your reply! Do
you mean I should extend the polycarbonate roofing? How about using barge flashing?
Hi @kelly7,
RE: I should extend the polycarbonate roofing?
With regard to the flashing I helped a friend with the same problem.
He already had that flashing (or similar) passed over the fence by a good neighbour.
We had issues trying to tuck it in and under, had to back of centre row of screws for some more headroom etc.
You may well have more room to work with, maybe our flashing was larger?
You could cut some cardboard 125mm wide, bend at 50mm from one side and see how it fits.
Cheers
Hi @kelly7
Looking at your issue and reading the responses so far, I think the best solution would be following @JacobZ by using CAgroup 100mm x 10m Weatherproof Byute Flash Flashing Tape.
However you will need to fix it to the inside edge of the guttering and not the tiles. If you fix two the tiler, then you hinder house roof runoff to the guttering.. Fixing too the inner lip of the gutter allows run off from the alfresco without affecting the house runoff.
