How to fix low-flow from gas bottle?

hi few months ago i purchased a swap and go bottle from bunnings victor harbor ,initially it worked fine ,now mu bbq is only getting warm ,i tried resetting the valve by turning off removing regulater pipe , refitting after 5 mins and turning on gas very slowly ,bbq still only getting warm .. i swapped bottle with one from my gas fire and bbq is hot ,,do i have a stuck valve in my bottle ? gas bottle has only done one bbq (baby q ) so nor a huge ammount of gas used .

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

 

It certainly sounds like it could be an issue with the bottle, considering you used another one without any issues. In this situation, the bottle should be returned and replaced.

 

I'd suggest ceasing use of the swap and go bottle, heading in store with your receipt, explaining the issue and getting it exchanged for a new bottle.

 

If you don't still have your receipt, if you can locate the transaction in your bank statements, the store leadership team will be able to reprint your receipt.

 

If you have any issues, I would be more than happy to reach out to the store to facilitate swapping your bottle for a fresh one.
