How to repaint decorative concrete

I am looking to repaint this decorative( to my understanding) concrete. Not sure if i can just repaint it or sealer is used or how it can be redone. Any guidance is appreciated.

Re: How to repaint decorative concrete

Hi @DexterOz,

Megatreat's textured primer would adhere to the stencilled concrete. You will need to apply two coats of it and then your topcoat. Megatreat's liquid sandstone is the topcoat which is used.

The process of stencilling concrete has many variables associated with it, and our suppliers do not recommend using traditional concrete paints on it. One of the issues is that it is often sealed, which prevents concrete paints from adhering correctly.

Re: How to repaint decorative concrete

@DexterOz,

Megatreat's primer and paint will start to hide the pattern as they are textured coatings. You might like to investigate companies that specialise in stencil rejuvenation. The products used are generally commercial grade and not suitable for D.I.Y.

Re: How to repaint decorative concrete

I have not been able to find stencil. I want to keep the pattern so would like to find the stensil and remove the existing sealant and then proceed. Still trying to figure out the stuff.

Thansk @MitchellMc  for your support always
