Looking to cut a wine barrel into two planters. Any help would do.

This sounds like a question for @Wayne and/or @ProjectPete.

@Maddogmick54

Do you have a circular saw?

You could also use a handsaw, as per this - https://www.doityourself.com/stry/how-to-cut-a-wine-barrel-in-half

Re: Wine barrel cutting

Great idea @Maddogmick54 - they come up great and are easily done.

I've done a few and have found it easy enough with a Jigsaw or Circular Saw.

Make sure you line it with black plastic to help preserve the wood a bit and a few drainage holes are a good idea.

Keen to see how it turns out!
