How to fix hole in copper piping?

Hi folks,

I have a hole in some copper piping that is spraying water. The piping is exposed, so I can access it, I just wanted to know, is it possible to plug the hole with something like Builder's bog but the plumbing edition, if it exists, or is this a plumbers' job?

Apologies for no photo, as phone is MIA.

Regards,

T.

Re: Hole in copper piping

Hello @TJP

For a temporary repair I suggest wrapping it in Tommy Tape 25mm x 3m Specialty Tape - White. Please remember to pull, stretch and wrap to activate the tape. It is self-fusing and will bind to itself. Once the leak has stopped, I suggest engaging the services of a plumber to properly repair the leak.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric

Hi @EricL,

Appreciate your reply, will pop down first thing tomorrow and get some tape.
