How do I take out a screw that is stripped?

I am replacing the hinges on my internal doors. I've come across quite a few screws that have either been stripped that I can't get them out. They are flush with the wall so there's nothing to grip on to. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I understand your frustration when screw heads get stripped off. I suggest using the IRWIN 3 Piece Screw Extractor Set 1876224. IRWIN Screw extractors are designed to remove damaged screws and small bolts. It's a simple three step process drill the top of the screw, flip the bit and extract.
