How do you book workshops and garden club?

InStoreDIY.jpgBunnings customers can find and book workshops, garden club, kids D.I.Y. classes and family events at your local store via the Bunnings website

Just click on Stores at the top of the page, then Find a store, then click on the More details option when your chosen store has appeared.

This will take you to a page where you can see and book upcoming workshops. For example, here is the page for Artarmon.

Re: indoor garden workshop

Hello @susanamy

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us.

One of the best ways to get registered for the next garden meet up is to call your local store and speak to the activities organizer. You can then ask them to book you in for the next garden meeting. From there you'll be able to find out the dates of the activities that will be held and when the next meet-up will be organized.

If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Re: How do you book a local event?

Hello @nadja,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about registering for a Bunnings event.

The best way to book your spot for this particular event is to give your local store a call and speak to the activities organizer. They will definitely know the details of the activity and be able to register you.

You can also visit the In-Store D.I.Y. workshop page. This will allow you to search what activities are going on in your local store. Select your state, store and date to find out what activities are lined up. You can then simply click on the big red button that says, "Book my place" and just follow the prompts.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Project for young adults

I run programs for Deaf & Hard of hearing young Mentors (Year 10 - Year 12) and I was looking for a workshop that would be able to accommodate our mentors & the social group to learn and how to build something using wood work.  We currently have 10 mentors in our program, but depending on the interest in the community we could have a few more.

I was looking at something like building a Go Cart or a Letter box - just for something to give the kids to opportunity to learn how to use some powered tools.

Does anyone know where I can go to enrol or an organization that I could work with in providing this to our community?

I will be booking the the Auslan Interpreter for the group - as most of us use Auslan.  We are based in Perth.

Re: Project for young adults

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jenellewafdc. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about workshops.

That sounds like a wonderful project.

All our community involvement goes through the Activities Organiser at your local Bunnings store. I trust they'll be able to take a look at your request and try to facilitate it in any way possible. I'll reach out via private message to provide more assistance in connecting with them.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
