How to build a second storey deck?

What are the barriers to building a deck on the second floor of my house and costs. 4 x 8 metres.

I suspect our members will need a lot more information from you in order to provide helpful advice. Can you please share some photos and plans of what you are proposing? That might be a good starting point. Also, please note the costs of building vary so wildly because there are so many variables involved that members are unlikely to be able to assist. Your best bet is to engage professionals to visit your home and provide formal quotes.

A picture of the second floor and how high you want the deck to be would help us determine its current set up. We can then make recommendations on how to move forward.
