Hi,
I would like to create a computer monitor riser similar to the picture, but 1.8m long instead to go the length of the desk. What products would be best for this? I realise that it may be difficult to find perspex brackets like the picture, so might have to use wooden blocks instead. In that case, is there a way to prevent screw holes from showing etc.?
Thanks ![]()
CC: @chumchurrum,
You should have no issues using a handsaw.
Take your time and let the saw do the work, don't shove the blade into the cut.
Cut the pine panel that @EricL recommended lengthways in half for two panels.
Cut one of those into three for the two sides and the middle shelf support.
Assemble with angle brackets
Stick felt pads to bottom of sides and middle shelf support.
Secure 1.8M dressed pine under back edge of shelf with smaller angle brackets.
Cheers
