I purchased craftright 253 pce drill and bit kit.
How do I know which is Phillips no. 2 bit?
Hi @softkun123,
I'm having a bit of difficulty locating that kit on the Bunnings Website. Would you be able to link it for me? Also, if you can show us an image of the included Phillips bits in the kit, we can point out the number 2. In those kits, it can be a bit tricky as they include a myriad of bits, some of which you might only use a few times in many years and others like a number 2 Phillips, which you could use every week. I have the 100 piece set, which I keep for tricky screws and then I have several number 2 Phillips bits for daily use. One always stays in my drill as it's used so often.
Number 1's are for fine smaller screws, number 2's suit most medium construction screws and number 3's are for larger screws. Number 2 is going to be the most commonly used when building things. Below I've shown P 1, 2, and 3 in the Irwin range. Note the differences in the tip profiles.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Below are the images of bit kit. As you can see in one of the pics some code is mentioned not sure what's it's purpose
G'day @softkun123
Looks like @MitchellMc has found them - bit like Where's Wally. 😁
Your 'bit' photo above is from the Pozidrive range...can't say I've ever used them much.
