How to install a flyscreen door in a wooden frame?

Hi Guys,

I bought a Aluminium 813 x 2032 mm Black Metric Fixed Barrier Door.

Wooden Door Frame size is:  813 x 2030 mm.

How can I make this door fit in Frame? Should I trim Frame to make it fix? Please help me out. Thanks

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Jaspreetsam88. It's fantastic that you've joined us, and many thanks for your question about door installation.

I'm sorry to hear your door doesn't quite fit the intended location. It sounds like the Protector Aluminium 806 x 2024mm Black Imperial Fixed Barrier Door is a better fit for that size opening. I'd suggest the best option would be to exchange these doors. You could attempt to trim the top door jamb, though the width might also need adjustment. I would think an 813mm wide door would be too tight for an 813mm wide gap. Generally, you would select a door that would leave at least a 5mm gap between it and the frame.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need assistance exchanging these products.
