Hi everyone,
I recently bought the Jack Matrix 1800 x 900 x 6mm Charcoal Ferns Screen Panel along with the Matrix C-Channel Kit. I want to use it as an indoor room divider but need an easy, portable way to make it stand upright on the floor without drilling or permanent fixtures.
So far, tried wooden blocks and advertising display mobile base with castors. Unfortunately, no luck, not enough support to keep the screen upright.
Does anyone have experience or advice on mounting accessories or base stands compatible with this panel for a freestanding, portable setup? Any simple DIY ideas or ready-made products that work well with Jack Matrix panels would be awesome.
Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions!
Hello @granit
Thank you for sharing your question about the Matrix panel. I propose building a timber footing with a slot in the middle that will allow the Matrix panel to stand up without using any fixings. I've placed an image below to give you an idea of how to build the footing. You'll need to adjust the gap between the timber pieces and probably move the MDF support pieces closer. Please have a look and tell me what you think.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
Eric

Cheers, I have just ordered 4 similar footings.
Hopefully, adjusting will be minimal.
