Re: how can I remove this paint that fell in the tile grout?

Hi @ShedSheeran,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Are you aware of what kind of paint was used?

Was it water-based? Or oil-based?

If it is water-based, you can spray it with some isopropyl alcohol, allow it to soak for a little bit, then wipe it off with a cloth or light abrasive pad such as these Scotch-Brite 155 x 100mm Non-Scratch Scourer Pads.

If it is oil-based, you can follow the same process with turpentine.

I'd suggest covering the skirting boards with a bit of painter's tape or cardboard to protect them from overspray.

If there is still some paint remaining, you can use a knife blade to gently scratch it off. Just make sure you wear gloves and long protective clothing to reduce the risk of lacerations.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob

I am not sure but I will try the alcohol first. Thank you!
