Hi all. Im now up to restoring colonial windows that with badly damaged timber. Where should i start? What type of putty is best for this situation?
Hi @miraperry,
Thank you for your question.
Can I trouble you to take some close-up photos of what you are looking to restore? The image is too dark to see the details that we'll need to offer our best advice.
Is the damage to the timber? Or are you looking to replace the putty that keeps the glass in place?
Any further details you can provide will help us to answer your question.
I will assist further when you can provide further details.
Jacob
Thankyou
To answer your questions. Im looking to restore the windows. The putty is uneven, cracking and popping out in several spots. Thevtimber is teal bad also. Do you think sanding will fix timber?
