Yes, you can apply Dulux Semi Gloss over Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen, but preparation is important to ensure a good result.
Start by cleaning the walls thoroughly with sugar soap to remove any dust, dirt, or grease that could prevent the new coat from adhering properly. Once clean, lightly sand the low sheen surface with fine sandpaper such as 180-Grit to dull the finish and create a surface the semi-gloss can grip to. After sanding, wipe away any dust with a damp microfibre cloth to leave the wall smooth and clean.
If the existing paint is in good condition, you can usually paint directly without a full primer coat, though any patched or repaired areas should be spot primed first.
Finally, apply two coats of Dulux Semi Gloss to achieve an even, durable finish. Following these steps will ensure the new semi-gloss coating bonds well and looks consistent across the surface.
