Hi all,
I am looking to change my showerhead to a brushed nickel one preferably with the rain head or twin system. Wondering if its possible/feasible with my current plumbing situation? Any recommendations? Will also be changes handles as well
Hello @charlottegood
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your showerhead.
Generally speaking, the shower elbow attached to your wall will need to be removed and from there the new rain head shower system needs to be attached. The brass threaded outlet must be wrapped in FIX-A-TAP 12mm x 8m Blue PTFE Thread Seal Tape so that there will be no leaks. The rest of the old shower head assembly must be taken apart to make room for the shower head.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How to change a shower head (it will give you a general idea of how the shower heads are removed and installed)
Here are some of the rain head shower sets you can install:
Please note that not all of the samples listed are brushed nickel finish.
