How to add laundry benchtop in a rental?

I am in a rental so limited to what I can do. I have a small laundry and wanted to add a bench too. Is there anyway that I can fit a bench top without drilling. I am sure that if I get a bench top and sit it on top of the washing machine it will probably slide down the broom cabinet side. How can I make this a bit more functional bearing in mind it is a rental and would want to dismantle it once leaving the property.

I really like this idea.  I may have to put a laundry sink cover on now also.  Was that just a slab to sit on top that can be easily removed?

yes it’s just a slab that sits on top of the sink and slides off. I just measured the sink then measured where the taps were and used a hole saw and jigsaw to make cutouts for the tap and washing machine hose. Then place on top of the sink and slide it in

I found the pull out drawer at an op shop but I believe it originally came from ikea. Not sure if they still sell it but hope that helps

I suggest having a look at this guide - How to build a slimline spice rack. If you are handy with the tools, you can use this guide to give you ideas on how to recreate the pull-out drawer cabinet. The best part is that you can modify it to your hearts content and have it at any size you need it to be.
